Langley woman Kristina Ward has been missing for nine years
Ward’s family and friends will hold a walk in Surrey on Sept. 24, seeking information nine years after she was reported missing.

Kristina Ward, a Langley woman, was reported missing on Sept. 25, 2017. She was later seen on surveillance video at 144 Street and 104 Avenue in Surrey on Sept. 27, 2017, and there have been no reported sightings since.
Friday, Sept. 25 marks nine years since her disappearance. Her father, Art Ward, said the family still needs answers and wants to bring its daughter home, adding that it continues to live with the pain of having no information.
Ward’s parents, family and friends will walk along 104 Avenue from 144 Street to 140 Street on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, to keep her memory alive and seek information. Langley RCMP will join the family along the route where Ward was last seen on surveillance video. The public is invited to take part.
Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, a media relations officer with Langley RCMP, said police continue to search for Ward and that even a small piece of information could help investigators. Anyone with information can call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200, or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
