MacMaster and Leahy bring teenage children to Surrey for Celtic Family Christmas concert
Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy will bring their teenage children to Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey on Nov. 22 for their new Christmas-themed touring show.

Natalie MacMaster, Donnell Leahy and their growing musical family will bring A Celtic Family Christmas to Surrey this fall. Live Nation Entertainment says the concert, featuring new versions of classic Christmas favourites, is set for Sunday, Nov. 22, at Bell Performing Arts Centre.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, through livenation.com. In the early 2000s, MacMaster and Leahy raised seven musically gifted children, ran a farm and performed more than 75 shows annually. With their children now in their teens, they have returned to touring with a new Christmas-themed production.
The pair have sold out concert dates across North America and collaborated with Yo-Yo Ma, Michael McDonald, Allison Krauss and Nickelback. Videos and further details are available at natalieanddonnell.com.
Bell Performing Arts Centre will also host several tribute concerts this fall: This is Adele on Oct. 22; the local Eagles showcase Take it to the Limit on Nov. 13; ABBA Christmas with ABBA Cadabra on Dec. 4; A Holly Jolly Christmas with Buddy Holly soundalike Zachary Stevenson on Dec. 8; Walk Like A Man, a scripted musical celebrating Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, on Nov. 27; and The Music of Hans Zimmer and Others, featuring film music, on Dec. 1.
The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Traditional Christmas concert will be performed twice on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
