Harry Potter trivia night set for three Surrey Tim Hortons locations

Harry Potter fans can test their knowledge at a Tim Hortons Trivia Night on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. Three Surrey restaurants are taking part: 7288 King George Blvd. in Newton, 18682 Fraser Hwy. in Clayton Heights and 1767 152nd St. in South Surrey.

The event is being held at participating locations across Canada as part of Tim Hortons’ Back to Hogwarts partnership with Harry Potter. The promotion also marks the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film.

The chain’s themed offerings have included Hogwarts House-inspired doughnuts, Golden Snitch Timbits and holders, drinks, merchandise and packaging. Chief marketing officer Hope Bagozzi said the franchise has been part of many guests’ lives for decades.

Tim Hortons is encouraging attendees to arrive early. Other participating Lower Mainland locations are listed at news.timhortons.ca/en.
