Two seriously hurt and 11 others injured in B.C. crash that closed Highway 99
A semi-truck and trailer, a bus and several other vehicles were involved in a crash on Highway 99 on Friday. Thirteen people were taken to hospital, and traffic was shut down for several hours.

Police in British Columbia say 13 people were taken to hospital after a semi-truck and trailer, a bus and several other vehicles were involved in a crash on Highway 99 on Friday. The collision shut down traffic on the highway for several hours. BC Emergency Health Services said several ambulances, paramedics and an air ambulance responded.
Surrey Police Service initially reported no serious injuries. Late Friday night, it said two of those injured were seriously hurt, and one was airlifted to hospital. The other 11 injured people were hospitalized in stable condition, police said.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is in its early stages, police said. Investigators believe the semi-truck and trailer crossed into oncoming traffic.
