SkyTrain construction prompts Langley City road closures
Concrete work on the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain guideway will alter access and traffic patterns near Industrial Avenue and 203 Street on several September dates.

Temporary road closures are required near Industrial Avenue and 203 Street in Langley City for SkyTrain construction, including concrete pours and other work on part of the elevated guideway. The work began Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Closures are scheduled for Sept. 2, 3 and 10. On Saturday, Sept. 5, vehicles will not be able to access 203 Street from Industrial Avenue, although 203 Street itself will remain open. Industrial Avenue between 201A Street and 203 Street will operate with two-way traffic on all work dates, then return to single eastbound traffic after the work is completed.
The traffic-pattern changes are in effect from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., with construction starting at 6 a.m. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Concrete pump trucks and deliveries are expected during the work, and the announcement warns of noise.
The Surrey-Langley SkyTrain project will extend the Expo Line by 16 kilometres, primarily along Fraser Highway from King George Station in Surrey to 203 Street in Langley City. Updates are available through the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain website.
