One injured in Delta shooting

One person suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries in an early-morning shooting in Delta on Sunday.

The Delta Police Department said officers responded at about 4:33 a.m. to reports of shots fired on 64th Avenue near the Highway 91 off-ramp. Police identified the suspect vehicle as a grey Kia Forte that had left before officers arrived.

Investigators remain at the scene gathering evidence, and the 10600 block of 64th Avenue is closed in all directions. Police are asking anyone with information, including dashcam footage recorded on 64th Avenue between 4 a.m. and 4:45 a.m., to call 604-946-4411.
