Surrey council candidate Cheney Cloke proposes police helicopter and drone fleet within 90 days
Safe Surrey Coalition candidate Cheney Cloke also proposes protecting Rosemary Heights lands as a park and holding property tax increases at zero for four years.

Cheney Cloke, a Safe Surrey Coalition candidate for Surrey city council, is a business owner and parent. She is a former senior leader at Fraser Health and a past vice-chair of the police board who helped build the Surrey Police Service. Her three priorities are a police helicopter and drone fleet within 90 days, protecting the Rosemary Heights lands as a park rather than building townhomes, and zero per cent property tax increases for four years.
Cloke said she helped build the Surrey Police Service from the ground up while serving as vice-chair of the Surrey Police Board under chair Doug McCallum. She said a Safe Surrey Coalition council would provide the service with the tools and funding it needs, including more officers on the street and a helicopter and drone fleet over Surrey within 90 days so help can arrive faster. She also pledged zero tolerance for crime targeting families and businesses.
Cloke said her experience includes helping build the police service and spending 15 years leading major projects at Fraser Health.
