Coquitlam invites residents to annual Salmon Come Home event
Coquitlam’s salmon are returning after years in the ocean to spawn. Residents can join a free, family-friendly day of activities and hands-on learning at Hoy Creek Hatchery on Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
After spending years in the ocean, Coquitlam’s salmon are returning home to spawn. Residents are invited to the annual Salmon Come Home event at Hoy Creek Hatchery on Oct. 25 for free, family-friendly activities and hands-on learning.
The event runs Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hoy Creek Hatchery. Admission is free.
