White Rock and South Surrey homes among VGH+ lottery grand prizes
The 2026 VGH+ Millionaire Lottery is selling tickets until Jan. 8, 2027, or until they sell out. Its 11 grand-prize options include homes in White Rock and South Surrey, with a $3-million tax-free cash alternative.

Homes in White Rock and South Surrey are among the grand-prize options in the 2026 VGH+ Millionaire Lottery. Tickets are on sale now until midnight on Jan. 8, 2027, or until sold out. The lottery release says all proceeds support VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, funding advanced equipment, research and patient care at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre and Vancouver Community Health Services.
This year’s draw offers 11 grand-prize options. Winners can choose a home package in the Okanagan, White Rock, South Surrey, Vancouver, Burnaby, Abbotsford, Courtenay, Sooke or Colwood. The packages are valued at more than $3.4 million, and the grand-prize winner may instead take $3 million in tax-free cash.
Foundation president and CEO Angela Chapman said in the release that everyone in B.C. facing a critical medical challenge deserves world-class treatment and life-saving innovation. She said lottery support gives VGH care teams the tools and research to save lives, adding that every ticket matters because VGH is B.C.’s hospital.
To encourage early purchases, the lottery is offering an Early Bird prize worth more than $200,000. The draw will award $1,000 each to 40 winners and $500 each to 20 winners. Another winner will choose one of three options: a 2026 Toyota Tundra Hybrid Limited Nightshade plus a 2026 Toyota 4Runner Hybrid Platinum; a private-jet experience from Travel Best Bets, comprising a $150,000 Travel Best Bets gift card and $25,000 cash; or $150,000 cash.
The lottery also has two additional games. The 50/50 PLUS Lottery jackpot could reach $3 million, depending on ticket sales. The Daily Cash PLUS Game has 211 days of draws, with two winners drawn each day except the final Friday. On that day, one winner will receive $75,000, one $50,000 and one $25,000, for a total Daily Cash PLUS prize value of $400,000.
Lottery spokesperson Todd Talbot said this year’s prizes are the most valuable in the lottery’s history, with a record grand-prize package worth more than $3.4 million. He described the White Rock grand-prize home as a show-stopper. At 4,900 square feet, it has four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, a two-car garage, a basement theatre room, wine wall, bar, sauna and bedroom suite. It is minutes from White Rock Beach and the Pier.
Talbot said the lottery also offers homes in some of B.C.’s most beautiful locations, including Vancouver, a 5,464-square-foot lake-view home in the Okanagan, Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland communities Burnaby, South Surrey and Abbotsford. Every home prize includes additional prizes, such as cash of up to $1.9 million. He said tickets could change a winner’s life and help save others’ lives.
Since its inception, the lottery has raised more than $100 million for projects including research, critical-care ventilators, mobility equipment and operating-room equipment. Tickets cost $110 for two, $200 for five, $350 for 10 and $600 for 25.
