Pattison Food Group says More Rewards customer data accessed in cybersecurity breach
Pattison Food Group says names and, where provided, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and dates of birth were accessed from the More Rewards database. The company says accounts remain secure and did not say how many customers were affected.

Pattison Food Group says it found unusual activity on one of its servers on Tuesday. The company operates the More Rewards loyalty program through its Save-On-Foods, Buy-Low Foods, PriceSmart Foods and Nesters stores. It said the server was taken offline and a third-party cybersecurity expert was brought in.
The company told Global News it confirmed on Friday that customers’ personal information in the More Rewards database had been accessed. The information includes names and, if provided, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and dates of birth. Based on the information available, the company said no other personal information, such as passwords, credit card data or transaction history, was accessed, and that More Rewards accounts remain secure. It did not say how many customers were affected.
