Township of Langley to flush water mains in Willoughby and Aldergrove this fall

The Township of Langley will flush water mains in Willoughby and Aldergrove from Monday, Oct. 19, to Friday, Dec. 18, 2026. The work is intended to improve water quality, remove sediment and prevent unwanted tastes, odours and turbidity.

Residents may notice temporary changes in water pressure, and some discolouration or sediment in the water may occur. The Township says these conditions are temporary and are not a health hazard. To avoid inconvenience, residents may wish to check the water before doing laundry and keep water in the refrigerator for drinking and cooking while flushing is underway in their neighbourhood.
