Arrest made after teenager shot in neck with BB gun in Vancouver

Vancouver Police say they have arrested a suspect after a teenager was shot in the neck with a BB gun near Point Grey Secondary School on Monday night. The victim was not seriously injured.

Police say several unknown suspects approached the teen at about 9:45 p.m. The group left and later returned, when one youth allegedly shot the victim.

Officers located and arrested the suspect nearby. They seized a BB gun, a knife and a can of bear spray, and issued a violation ticket related to possession of the bear spray.
