B.C. party leaders to address Vancouver business community ahead of election
With less than two weeks until the provincial election, the leaders of B.C.’s three major parties are scheduled to present their plans to Vancouver business leaders at an event this afternoon. They will speak separately and take questions.

With less than two weeks to go before the provincial election, the leaders of British Columbia’s three major political parties are scheduled to present their plans to business leaders in Vancouver this afternoon. NDP Leader David Eby, Conservative interim leader Lorne Doerkson and Green Party Leader Emily Lowan are set to speak at an event hosted by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade.
The leaders will not debate one another. Each will address attendees, followed by a question-and-answer session with board president Bridgitte Anderson. The board says the event is intended to let people hear directly from the leaders as they present their vision for the province and discuss priorities for B.C.’s future.
A televised leaders’ debate is scheduled for Wednesday, ahead of election day on Oct. 24.
