Port Moody couple still making music 25 years after meeting at band camp
Adam and Sarah Faber met as teenagers at band camp and began dating soon afterward. More than 25 years later, the Port Moody couple still plays music together.

Adam and Sarah Faber’s relationship began at a teenage band camp, where Adam was playing piano and Sarah, then a young flutist, called out requests from the audience.
The pair began talking after his performance and, after playing together during camp, decided to start dating once it ended. They lived about a 25-minute drive apart and relied on their parents for rides before either had a licence.
Their relationship continued through middle school and university. They have now been together for more than 25 years and married for nearly 18.
Sarah works as a doctor in neuroscience, while Adam writes satirical accordion songs, including one about a local pickleball dispute. They continue to play together, including their wedding song, Joel Plaskett’s “Happen Now,” and say music remains central to their shared life.
