Richmond schools set Sept. 8 start date for 2026-27

Richmond School District says the first day of school for the 2026-27 year will be Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.

First-day start and end times will vary by school and grade. Families are asked to review their school's schedule or contact the school office to confirm when children should arrive.

The district's 2026-27 calendars also list professional development days, statutory holidays and winter, spring and summer breaks.
