TSB deploys investigators after small plane crash near Mission

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is sending investigators to the scene of a small plane crash near Mission in the Fraser Valley, east of Vancouver.

The agency said the small aircraft accident occurred Wednesday. Police and the TSB have not confirmed whether anyone was injured or killed.

A TSB spokesperson said Thursday morning that investigators were expected to arrive at the site later in the day and that no further details were available. The independent federal agency investigates air, marine and rail occurrences to improve transportation safety.
