Police seek help identifying man killed by train in Mission over the summer
Mission RCMP say a man struck and killed on railway tracks on July 11 remains unidentified. Police have released a sketch and are asking anyone who recognizes him to call with information.

A man struck and killed by a train in Mission over the summer has not been identified, and police are asking the public for help. He was struck sometime before 7:30 a.m. on July 11, Mission RCMP said in a news release Wednesday, more than three months after the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision happened on tracks south of Lougheed Highway, near the intersection with Highway 11. Police and the B.C. Coroners Service have pursued several investigative avenues, including reviewing outstanding missing-persons reports, but have not been able to identify the man. Police have released a sketch in the hope someone will recognize him.
RCMP described him as about 160 centimetres, or 5 feet 3 inches, tall, with a slim build. They said it is unclear whether he was from Mission or another community.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the sketch is asked to call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161 and quote file number 2026-9077. Police also reminded the public to cross railway tracks only at designated crossings and to heed all signs and warnings near the tracks.
