Motorcyclist dies after collision with sedan in Richmond, RCMP say
Police say the rider was taken to hospital after Tuesday’s crash at No. 1 Road and Lockhart Road, where they later died of their injuries.
A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a sedan in Richmond on Tuesday afternoon, police said Wednesday.
Richmond RCMP said officers responded shortly before 4:45 p.m. to reports of a crash at No. 1 Road and Lockhart Road. Police secured the scene while B.C. Emergency Health Services treated those involved.
The rider was taken to hospital and later died from their injuries, according to police. Richmond RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has taken over the investigation, and no further information is being released at this time.
