Fraud and theft charges approved against Anmore man, Coquitlam RCMP say
Ryan Kohler faces one fraud charge and two theft charges following an investigation into alleged offences connected to his former role on an Anmore school parent advisory council.

Coquitlam RCMP say charges have been approved against an Anmore man after an investigation that began in 2025.
Police said Friday that the BC Prosecution Service approved one count of fraud over $5,000, one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of theft over $5,000 against Ryan Kohler on Aug. 10.
RCMP said Kohler was formerly involved with a parent advisory council at a school in Anmore. The alleged offences are said to have occurred between October 2024 and May 2025.
Cpl. John Graham said a detailed Coquitlam RCMP investigation into alleged criminal actions resulted in the charges. He said police understand the allegations are concerning and have confidence in the judicial process now underway.
Police said Kohler has been released on conditions while the case proceeds through the courts.
