Steveston boardwalk attracts Lower Mainland and international visitors
Steveston's Fisherman's Wharf remains a working commercial harbour where visitors can buy seasonal seafood directly from local fishers.

Fisherman's Wharf in Steveston remains a working commercial fishing dock and a destination for Lower Mainland and international visitors. Local fishers sell fresh seafood directly from their boats, with offerings varying by season.
Salmon, crab, shrimp, spot prawns and rockfish are among the seafood sold by fishers. The harbour houses more than 500 commercial fishing vessels that lease space from the Steveston Harbour Authority, as well as maritime businesses such as net mending and boat repair.
The Steveston Harbour Authority was established in 1990 as a non-profit organization. It leases Steveston Harbour and its facilities from Fisheries and Oceans Canada's Small Craft Harbours Branch and operates and maintains them as a commercial fishing harbour. The harbour is now Canada's largest small craft harbour.
Interpretive signs along the wharf describe the fishing industry and its scale. Nearby Steveston Landing offers stores and restaurants for visitors.
