Canadians can save on fuel this week with Circle K and Couche-Tard discounts
Participating Circle K and Couche-Tard stations will offer 10 cents off per litre for four hours on Oct. 15. Drivers in five provinces and territories can access an earlier discount through the Circle K app.

The federal government announced in September that it was extending fuel excise tax relief until Jan. 31, 2027. The relief saves drivers 10 cents per litre on gasoline and four cents per litre on diesel. Fuel prices vary by province: GasBuddy’s portal lists Alberta’s average gasoline price at 157.3 cents per litre, the lowest, while drivers in Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland are paying upwards of 219 cents per litre.
On Thursday, Oct. 15, drivers can save 10 cents per litre at participating Circle K and Couche-Tard stations. The company operates more than 2,000 locations across Canada and says the National Fuel Day offer is valid for four hours, from 3 to 7 p.m. local time. Stéphane Trudel, senior vice-president of operations at Alimentation Couche-Tard, said the goal is to make life on the road a little easier because the cost of every trip adds up.
Drivers can get an earlier 10-cent-per-litre discount through the Circle K app, according to the company’s news release. The offer runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time on Oct. 15 in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, the Northwest Territories and British Columbia.
