Vancouver Canadians acknowledge problems with Trey Yesavage bobblehead giveaway
The Vancouver Canadians say they are reviewing giveaway logistics after fans reported adults taking multiple Trey Yesavage bobbleheads while children went without.

The Vancouver Canadians say they encountered challenges during Tuesday’s Trey Yesavage bobblehead giveaway and are reviewing how future promotions are managed.
The club said the event was an overall success but that the 500 available bobbleheads were especially sought after. Fans began lining up at 11 a.m., seven hours before gates opened, according to a statement provided to CTV News.
Vancouver advocate Guy Felicella said his children had been anticipating the giveaway for months. In a widely viewed post on X, he alleged that some adults, including MVP ticket holders, left with multiple bobbleheads while children who had waited in line received none. He said his wife saw one woman carrying six.
A Vancouver Canadians marketing executive replied that the club could do better and said he personally intervened to have one person who cut the line removed by security. The team says fan experience is its priority. By the following morning, several eBay sellers advertising more than one bobblehead were asking between $150 and $200.
