Two elections are planned for October: the general local election is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, and the provincial election for Saturday, Oct. 24. Under Section 81 of the Election Act, a board of school trustees must make available accommodation in a school it owns under the School Act for use as a voting place.

Langley Schools has published the voting sites for both elections and asks people to expect extra pedestrian and vehicle traffic near them on election day. The district thanked families and community members for their support and co-operation, and encouraged everyone eligible to vote to do their civic duty.
