Four Surrey White Spot locations join Pirate Pak Day fundraiser
White Spot will donate $2 from every adult Pirate Pak sold Aug. 12 to Zajac Ranch programs for children and young adults with disabilities and serious medical conditions.

White Spot’s annual Pirate Pak Day fundraiser is being held Wednesday, Aug. 12, with $2 from every adult-sized Pirate Pak sold supporting Zajac Ranch programs for children and young adults with serious medical conditions and physical or developmental disabilities.
The adult meal includes an entrée, coleslaw, fries, ice cream and a chocolate coin, served in the cardboard boat normally used for children’s meals. It is available for dine-in and takeout from 11 a.m. until closing; delivery is not offered for the event.
All 48 White Spot restaurants are participating, including Surrey locations at Guildford, Panorama, Morgan Crossing and Semiahmoo Shopping Centre. Customers can call locations to reserve a table or arrange pickup.
White Spot says nearly 532,000 Pirate Paks have been sold since the fundraiser began, helping raise more than $1 million for Zajac Ranch through several initiatives. This year’s event also recognizes founder Mel Zajac, who died earlier this year at age 98.
