Chipotle operators will hold Western Canada Hiring Day events at 39 restaurants, including five in Surrey. The company aims to hire up to 100 employees in B.C. and Alberta on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The hiring push comes as Chipotle expects to open 12 new restaurants in the two provinces this year.

In Surrey, job-seekers can visit the King George Hub, South Surrey, Strawberry Hill, Guildford Town Centre and Fleetwood Village locations. Restaurant addresses and other details are available at chipotle.com (https://newsroom.chipotle.com/2026-10-21-Chipotle-aims-to-hire-up-to-100-employees-during-Western-Canada-Hiring-Day).

Anat Davidzon, Chipotle’s managing director, said the company is looking for people passionate about delivering a great guest experience and interested in growing with the business. She said the hiring day gives candidates a chance to meet restaurant leaders, learn about working at Chipotle and see how they can build a career there.

The company says it offers full- and part-time positions, competitive compensation, RRSP matching, free meals, holiday closures and up to $5,250 per year in tuition assistance. It also says more than 65 per cent of its current general managers in Canada were promoted internally, giving employees a potential path from an entry-level restaurant job into leadership.
