Langley schools use SchoolMessenger notification system
The Langley School District uses SchoolMessenger for school, emergency and attendance communications; parents and guardians must opt in to receive text messages.

The Langley School District uses SchoolMessenger to communicate with families. As new families join its schools, some parents or guardians may receive a text message about the service: “Langley School District messages. Reply Y to confirm, HELP 4 info. Msg&data rates may apply. Msg freq varies. schoolmessenger.com/smsca.”
The service supports parental outreach, emergency broadcasts, school information, student attendance alerts, secure file delivery and other education-related communications. It uses recorded phone messages, email and optional text messages to send important information, drawing contact details from MyEdBC, the provincial information system.
No action is required to receive phone and email messages. Families whose email addresses and phone numbers are current in MyEdBC will receive those messages automatically; changes should be made by contacting the school. Text-message notifications require parents or guardians to opt in.
SchoolMessenger does not replace other communication channels. Parents and guardians can continue to contact administrators by phone, email and TEAMS meetings.
