Richmond police say a 53-year-old North Vancouver man faces sexual exploitation and sexual assault charges stemming from allegations dating from 2004 to 2008.
A 53-year-old North Vancouver man has been charged following a Richmond police investigation into alleged sexual exploitation of a youth more than two decades ago.
Police say Zahid Hassandeen Zade Nanji faces charges of sexual exploitation and sexual assault. The alleged offences occurred between 2004 and 2008, when police say he was in a position of trust or authority. Police have not said what that position was.
The RCMP investigation began in September 2024 after someone came forward. Investigators are asking anyone with additional information to contact police. The allegations have not been proven in court.
