High-value Pokémon cards stolen from Vancouver collectibles shop

Vancouver Police Department investigators are looking into a break-and-enter at Royal Card Shop and Collectibles, where high-value Pokémon cards were stolen early Aug. 3.

Police responded at 2:58 a.m. to the shop at 4355 Dunbar St. Investigators say two masked suspects pried open the rear door and used a stolen Ford pickup truck and rope to pull out the safe.

The pickup was found abandoned and still running in Surrey later that morning. It was taken to the VPD property garage for forensic analysis. Police describe both suspects as white men dressed entirely in black.

Anyone with information, dashcam footage or security video from the area is asked to call the VPD Property Crime tip line at 604-717-0610.
