Surrey council approved a recommended contract with A&G Supply Ltd. to provide custodial supplies for participating city facilities. The contract is valued at $1,010,763.76, with a spending limit of $1,111,840.14, and came before council on Sept. 21.
The supplies will be used at Parks, Recreation & Culture facilities, Surrey Fire Service facilities, civic facilities and Surrey Libraries, according to Laurie Cavan, the city’s general manager of parks, recreation and culture. The locations include indoor pools, arenas, recreation centres, arts and culture buildings, outdoor park washrooms, fire halls, library branches, City Hall and civic administrative spaces.
City Hall received nine submissions for the work. Cavan said the evaluation team unanimously concluded that A&G Supply Ltd. was capable of delivering the contract.
