Voting opens for 2026 PoCo Best Biz Awards

The City of Port Coquitlam is inviting the community to vote for favourite local businesses in the 2026 PoCo Best Biz Awards. Community Choice voting is open from Aug. 28 to Sept. 13 following a nomination period that closed Aug. 16.

The Awards Selection Committee has shortlisted nominees in each category. Community members may vote for businesses they believe best represent Port Coquitlam in five Community Choice categories: Best Bite in Town for dining establishments; Best Sip in Town for cafés, pubs, breweries and other beverage-focused businesses; Best Local Find for brick-and-mortar retailers; Best Local Service for professionals, tradespeople and service-based businesses; and Family Favourite for family-oriented businesses or destinations.

Voting is open to everyone in the community, with one vote per person in each category. Ballots can be cast at portcoquitlam.ca/bizawards until 11:59 p.m. Sept. 13. The Business of the Year award will be selected by the Awards Selection Committee.

Winners in all categories will be announced Sept. 24 at an invitation-only celebration for nominees, sponsors and community partners. All nominees will be featured on the City’s website and social-media channels during the program.
