Two suspects remain at large after shots fired in South Surrey
Surrey Police Service says a person believed to be the intended target was found uninjured after shots were fired Thursday evening. Two men in dark clothing reportedly fled on foot.

Surrey Police Service officers were called to a housing complex in the 100 block of 175A Street at about 6:50 p.m. Thursday after reports of shots fired. Police found a person believed to be the intended target at the scene. The person was not injured.
The two suspects, described as men wearing dark clothing, reportedly fled on foot. Officers and police dogs searched the area but did not find them. Surrey Police Service said officers would remain in the area overnight and possibly into Friday morning to speak with witnesses and look for evidence. The service said there was no indication at this early stage that the incident was related to extortion, but investigators believe it was targeted.
