Access between 188th Street and Fraser Highway to close on select dates
Traffic restrictions for Surrey-Langley SkyTrain construction will block access between 188th Street and Fraser Highway on five days from late September to early October.

Drivers will be unable to access 188th Street from Fraser Highway, or Fraser Highway from 188th Street, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 25, 28 and 29, and Oct. 1 and 2. Fraser Highway will be reduced to one lane in each direction on both sides of 188th Street.
The restrictions support Surrey-Langley SkyTrain construction, including construction and electrical work for new traffic signals at the intersection, according to B.C. Government Transportation Investment Corporation. An alternate route is available via 68th Avenue. Cyclists and pedestrians should follow signs and traffic-control personnel, while business and residential access will be maintained.
Traffic flaggers will support all movements through the intersection while work continues on Oct. 5 and 6. The corporation expects delays in the area and advises transit riders to check TransLink.ca for current bus-service information. More project information is available at surreylangleyskytrain.gov.bc.ca.
