Amsterdam mystery man is not missing Vancouver-area Canadian, police say
Dutch police say fingerprint work with Canadian investigators has ruled out John Russell Kenny as the unidentified Amsterdam man known as Lucky.

Dutch police say the unidentified man known as Lucky is not John Russell Kenny, an Ontario man who disappeared in Vancouver in 1994.
Online speculation had suggested Lucky could be Kenny, who would now be about 67. Amsterdam police said their investigation with Canadian police determined the two men are not the same person.
Lucky was found without identification after suffering a brain hemorrhage or stroke about three years ago, leaving him unable to communicate. Detectives have received more than 500 tips and are examining at least nine leads about his identity.
Police urged people not to try to identify him from photographs alone, warning that public conclusions can affect those involved.
