Surrey theatre schedules Alan Jackson, Adele and ABBA tribute concerts
Bell Performing Arts Centre’s late-summer and fall calendar includes a Sept. 17 Surrey debut for Aaron Halliday’s Alan Jackson tribute show.

Surrey’s Bell Performing Arts Centre has scheduled several tribute concerts for late summer and fall, including the Highwaymen Show on Sept. 13 and The Alan Jackson Experience on Sept. 17.
The Highwaymen concert features songs by Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. The fall calendar at bellperformingartscentre.com also includes This is Adele on Oct. 22, local Eagles showcase Take it to the Limit on Nov. 13, Walk Like A Man celebrating Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons on Nov. 27, film concert The Music of Hans Zimmer and Others on Dec. 1, ABBA Christmas with ABBA Cadabra on Dec. 4, and A Holly Jolly Christmas with Buddy Holly soundalike Zachary Stevenson on Dec. 8.
Aaron Halliday began his Alan Jackson tribute more than 30 years ago as a solo performer in B.C. Interior bars and clubs while pursuing original music. He said the show has grown over the past decade into a six-piece touring band that averages 45 performances a year from April through September across Canada, the United States and Mexico, and performed in Honduras last year. His wife, Sharyn, tours with the group and manages the road operation through ASH Entertainment; the couple spend winters in Mazatlán, Mexico.
The Sept. 17 performance will be Halliday’s award-winning tribute’s first in Surrey. He said Alan Jackson’s retirement from touring has increased demand, with dates booked through 2027 from Arizona in April to Minnesota in September, alongside shows across North America. Halliday says the program includes songs such as Chattahoochee, Summertime Blues, Remember When and Livin’ on Love. Details and tickets are available at thealanjacksonexperience.music.
