Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place on Fraser Highway west of 184th Street on Sept. 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., to support construction of the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain.

The work will assist with box-beam installation at the future Hillcrest-184th Street Station. Traffic changes will also include lane reductions on the approach to the 184th Street intersection.

Pedestrian access will remain available on the east side of 184th Street between Fraser Highway and 70th Avenue. Transportation Investment Corporation said crews will begin preparation near the station at about 6:30 a.m., with traffic changes starting at 9 a.m. It advised travellers to expect delays and follow posted signs and traffic-control personnel.
