Another record number of people turned out on the third day of advance voting in Vancouver’s municipal election, officials said. The City of Vancouver said in a social media post that 27,748 people voted on Saturday, double the number on the third advance voting day in 2022.
“More than 74,000 advance voters so far this election” have surpassed the total for all advance voting in 2022, the city said. It added that voters reported quick visits to voting places, making it easy to stop in and vote while enjoying their weekend plans.
