Youth charged after alleged threat to burn Port Coquitlam home
A 15-year-old faces three charges after an alleged threat to burn a Port Coquitlam residence in May, Coquitlam RCMP say.

Coquitlam RCMP say a 15-year-old has been charged after allegedly threatening to burn down a home in Port Coquitlam on May 17.
Frontline officers and the RCMP general investigation section examined the case and identified and arrested a suspect who does not live in the Tri-Cities, media relations officer Cpl. John Graham said.
BC Prosecution Service approved charges Aug. 4. The youth is charged with mischief under $5,000, uttering threats and breaching a disposition order.
Police described the alleged threat in a densely populated Port Coquitlam neighbourhood as an isolated incident. No injuries were reported. The accused is not in custody and remains under several court-ordered protective conditions.
