Township of Langley graffiti blitz removes nearly 900 tags
The Township of Langley says crews have removed nearly 900 graffiti tags since a publicly funded cleanup blitz began in mid-August, with further work planned in Aldergrove in September.

The Township of Langley says its graffiti removal blitz has removed nearly 900 graffiti tags since the initiative began in mid-August. Mayor and Council approved funding for the program at the July 27 Regular Council meeting.
The initiative targets graffiti on public property, including utility boxes, mailboxes, sidewalks, signs and other public infrastructure. Crews have worked in neighbourhoods across the Township, removing some graffiti that had been present for years.
Completed removals include 103 tags in Aldergrove, 36 in Brookswood, 53 in Fort Langley, 29 in Murrayville, 154 in Walnut Grove, 107 in Willoughby and 233 in Willowbrook. Additional work elsewhere in the Township brought the total to nearly 900, and crews will continue work in Aldergrove in September.
Residents who see graffiti on public property are encouraged to report it through the Township’s service form at tol.ca/help.
