Rob Stutt, a current Surrey councillor and former RCMP officer, is running with Surrey Connect. He says he is engaged with the community and advocates for public safety, emergency preparedness and responsible government.

His top three priorities are completing the police transition to ensure safe and effective policing; public safety and emergency preparedness; and responsible land use. Stutt says everyone who lives in or visits Surrey deserves not only to be safe but to feel safe. He says public safety and emergency preparedness will remain priorities, with continued investment in police, fire and by-law services, as well as infrastructure that builds strong, connected communities.

He says he will work to expand recreational facilities, parks, libraries and youth programs, while continuing to engage with communities to learn their public-safety priorities. Stutt says his experience as a city councillor and former police officer brings accountability and a commitment to unbiased, evidence-based decisions.

Voters can contact him at Rob.Stutt@surrey.ca or info@surrey-connect.ca for more information.
