Richmond Vietnamese-French restaurant Banh Mi Tres Bon closes after 10 years
The restaurant at Central at Garden City has closed, while its White Rock location at 1459 Johnston Rd. remains open.

Banh Mi Tres Bon, a Richmond restaurant serving Vietnamese food with French influences, has officially closed after a decade in business.
The restaurant announced its closure on social media. Its Richmond location was in the Central at Garden City plaza at Alderbridge Way and McClelland Road.
Opened in 2016, Banh Mi Tres Bon was known for Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches, pho noodles and French-influenced appetizers. Three years later, the small restaurant took over the neighbouring unit to expand its dining area as the COVID-19 pandemic began.
Owner Lan Do thanked customers in a social-media post, saying the restaurant had become part of many people’s stories, laughter, celebrations and memories. She said customers’ support allowed the business to do what it loved.
Banh Mi Tres Bon’s White Rock location at 1459 Johnston Rd. remains open.
