Tickets on sale for Maple Ridge’s Trulsen memorial hockey fundraiser

Tickets are now on sale for Maple Ridge’s annual Noah Trulsen Memorial Scholarship hockey game, scheduled for Nov. 21.

The fundraiser is held in memory of Noah Trulsen, who died at age 22 on Oct. 4, 2018, while playing a men’s recreational hockey game. His family, well known in the Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association, hosts the event each year to fund scholarships for two local graduating students.

Tickets cost $30 and include dinner at Hey Hey Bar and Grill, along with a silent auction, raffle prizes and a 50/50 draw. Payment can be made by e-transfer to ntms3@outlook.com.

A charity hockey game will also take place, with admission by donation. Organizers are seeking donations including sports-event tickets, gift cards, raffle baskets, experiences and restaurant vouchers. Donors and prospective players can contact ntms3@outlook.com; an online player sign-up is also available.
