Share: Love of birds
Birdwatcher and photographer Jake Brannagan shared images from the Pitt Addington Marsh area, nearby dikes and his Pitt Meadows backyard, featuring birds and wetland scenery.

Jake Brannagan loves birdwatching and photography and enjoys spending time around Pitt Addington Marsh and along the dikes. He shared a collection of bird photographs and wetland views with the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News.
One image shows a cedar waxwing photographed on Neaves Road, which he described as looking like a “supermodel-villain.” Photos from Allouette River Dikes show sandhill cranes with their young. Other images feature an American bittern among the marsh grasses.
Brannagan also photographed a female black-headed grosbeak eating berries in his Pitt Meadows backyard and a grey catbird among Douglas spiraea at the marsh. The collection includes a view of Widgeon Valley from the marsh.
