RONA fundraiser to support Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows seniors
Donations to RONA’s Home Sweet Home campaign in Maple Ridge will go to the Ridge Meadows Seniors Society through Oct. 12.

RONA’s Maple Ridge store is raising money for the Ridge Meadows Seniors Society through the retailer’s annual Home Sweet Home campaign.
The campaign runs from Monday, Aug. 31 to Monday, Oct. 12. Customers can donate in store or online, and all money raised locally will go to the seniors society, which provides activities, services and outreach programs in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
It is the first time the Ridge Meadows Seniors Society has been selected as the local beneficiary. Executive director Maria Perretta said the organization is thrilled to take part.
RONA stores across Canada are raising funds for organizations in their communities. The RONA Foundation aims to collect $500,000 nationally this year for about 150 non-profits.
Since launching in 2023, the Home Sweet Home campaign has contributed nearly $2 million to hundreds of Canadian non-profits. The foundation supports initiatives intended to improve housing access and living conditions for people in need.
