Surrey Schools releases its 2026–27 Enhancing Student Learning Report
Surrey Schools has released its annual report on student achievement and improvement, drawing on provincial and district-level evidence to support planning and learning opportunities.

Surrey Schools has released its 2026–27 Enhancing Student Learning Report (ESLR), its annual report on student achievement and improvement. The document is intended to inform engaging learning opportunities, provide insight into student learning and guide strategic planning across the district.
Under the Ministry of Education and Child Care’s Framework for Enhancing Student Learning, the district collects and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data on students’ intellectual, human and social, and career development. The work gives particular attention to Indigenous students, children and youth in care, and students with diverse abilities and disabilities.
The report includes required indicators in each area, including literacy, numeracy, well-being, grade-to-grade transitions, graduation rates and entry into B.C. post-secondary institutions. The 2026–27 report contains evidence of student achievement from provincial and district levels; reports from previous school years are also available.
