Voters in both cities will elect one mayor and six councillors. Maple Ridge voters will also elect five trustees for School District No. 42, while Pitt Meadows voters will elect two trustees. Those elected will serve four-year terms. Candidate lists are available at MapleRidge.ca/2026Candidates and pittmeadows.ca.

Residents can check their registration at elections.bc.ca. Eligible voters who are not on the list can vote by showing two pieces of identification with their name and residential address, such as a B.C. driver’s licence or BC Services Card. People who live outside a city but own property within it may be eligible to vote as non-resident property electors.
Maple Ridge voters will also answer three separate assent vote questions about long-term borrowing for proposed recreation projects: Hammond Aquatics and Recreation Centre, Hammond Multi-Use Community Park and Albion Twin-Rink Arena Expansion. Each question is decided separately and passes if more than 50 per cent of valid votes cast are Yes.
