Zumba Fest returning to Maple Ridge Oct. 3

Maple Ridge’s Zumba Fest will return to Albion Community Centre on Oct. 3, offering an evening of group dance fitness for people aged 16 and older.

The event runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 24165 104 Ave. Three certified Zumba instructors will lead routines set to Latin, international and popular music. No dance experience is required, and participants can adapt movements to their comfort and fitness level.

The city advises attendees to wear comfortable clothing and supportive footwear, and to bring a water bottle and small towel. The first 35 people to register will receive an event T-shirt; other merchandise will be available for purchase.

Registration opened Aug. 28. More information is available at MapleRidge.ca/ZumbaFest.
