Michael Kenneth Bryant died peacefully on Sept. 26, 2026, at age 60. Born in Maple Ridge on Feb. 23, 1966, to Verle and Michael Bryant, he was known to those close to him as Mike or Mikey. He was a beloved brother and uncle whose smile could brighten a room and turn a difficult day around.

He loved Suzi Quatro and his treasured DVD collection, which included favourites such as *Grease* and *The Partridge Family*. He also enjoyed ice cream, birthdays and walks. His siblings Chris, Darrell, Leah and Candace, his mother, and his many nieces and nephews remember the memorable summers he shared with them over the years. His sister Shari and his father died before him.

The family thanked the doctors, nurses and care staff at Maple Ridge Seniors Village and Ridge Meadows Hospital for the kindness and care they gave Michael. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Society. Michael brought great happiness to those who knew and loved him; his smile, affection for life’s simple pleasures and the memories he leaves behind will remain with them.
