The third annual Our Neck of the Woods Festival will take over downtown Maple Ridge on Sept. 5, with free live music, food, shopping, cultural programming and family activities planned from 2 to 10 p.m.

Memorial Peace Park and 224 Street will become a licensed festival site with performances on two stages. Dear Rouge, Bedouin Soundclash and Tim & The Glory Boys are scheduled for the Golden Ears Mainstage, while the Alouette Stage lineup includes Emmett Jerome, Antonio Larosa, Elise LeBlanc and Janky Bungag.

The event will include a car-free, pedestrian-friendly section of 224 Street, a local makers and small-business market, food trucks, a Family Fun Zone, Katzie First Nation storytelling and an art unveiling featuring Rain Pierre. A 19-plus premium viewing area, the Outpost Social Corner, will have tickets available through purchase.mapleridgeact.ca.

The city is encouraging visitors to use transit, rideshare, carpool, walk or cycle because of expected crowds. Bike valet service and water refill stations will be available. The site is walkable from the Haney Transit Loop; free underground parking is available at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre but is limited. Accessible seating will be provided, and visitors needing accessible parkade access can use the leisure centre elevator.

Performance schedules, maps, parking, transit and accessibility information are available at MapleRidge.ca/ONOTW.
