Obituary: Jessie Cuipka

Jessie Cuipka died July 19, 2026, at age 96. Her obituary remembers her traditions, including her cabbage rolls, and her love, hard work and devotion to family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Orest, and sons John and Gerald. She is survived by her daughter Karen; grandchildren Adam, Jordan, Lauren and John; son-in-law Reg; daughter-in-law Vicky; and nieces Glory and Rachel. The notice also recognizes her friends Marg and Anna and thanks Maple Ridge Hospital for her care.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 4, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish, 22561 121 St. Ave., Maple Ridge.
