Pups in the Pool Night returning to Hammond Outdoor Pool
Maple Ridge residents can bring their dogs to Hammond Outdoor Pool on Sept. 11 for a season-ending swim, subject to vaccination and safety requirements.
The City of Maple Ridge is bringing Pups in the Pool Night back to Hammond Outdoor Pool on Friday, Sept. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event follows the facility’s final public swim of the summer season. Admission is free for residents with proof of residency or an MR Proud sticker. For participants aged 16 and older, admission is $2 per dog-and-owner pair and covers one dog and one human companion.
Dogs must have current rabies vaccination documentation. Owners must enter the water and stay within arm’s reach of their dog, keep dogs leashed when out of the pool, and clean up after them. Dogs displaying aggressive behaviour will be asked to leave.
Space is available first come, first served, and a waitlist will begin once capacity is reached.
